I finished a new project, some sunglasses of bent metal and a couple photo filters. I walked around C2E2 with them on, and got stopped frequently. I have an offer to wholesale these and the Steampods, so we’ll see what happens. For now, here’s some pictures.I have made the nose rests since the shots on the bench, again, bent brass.
Ok, so these aren’t quite as polished as steampunk usually are. It’s almost more post-apocalypse. But here you go.Kind of like the camera glitch in the last one though it signals doom for my actual camera.

I have updated the steampod, and will be selling them at http://hauntedschoolhouse.etsy.com in the next week. Here’s some new pictures and the logo for The Workshop at the Haunted Schoolhouse. This version will be $25, but the new, improved steampod will start at $50 and go up depending on the level of detail. Will also have a touch model and a second classic model. The logo is actually the one room schoolhouse I live in. Have a good holiday everyone.
So I’ve finally completed my steampunk iPod cover. This is a prototype, and I haven’t completely decked it out yet. I am planning on selling these and similar things at upwards of $50 depending on options. This one is made with birch ply with mitred edges. Soon, I’ll make some hardwood ones. This thing is heavy, mostly due to the hooks I’m using. I could cut it down a bit on the weight with a different belt hook system.
Bet you didn’t know I did woodwork, did you?
